24+Advanced Learning Loans

Health and Social Care funding is changing for individuals who are over 24 and there is a possibility that you will need to find the cost yourself. The good news is there is some help as you can apply for a 24+ Advanced Learning Loan to help with the costs of a college or training course.

The courses eligible for a loan are a Level 3 or 4 course or an advanced or higher apprenticeship.

Loans have to be paid back. Repayments don’t start until April 2016 and you won’t have to pay anything back until you earn more than £21,000 a year.
